26 week bump

It’s been weeks since we’ve posted any updates. A lot has happen in the past 6 weeks, so I’ll try to give an overview of everything that’s been going on since we left off.

2nd trimester checkup

Our baby with her thumb in her nose

This was an important checkup for us. This appointment gives us the most information regarding our child’s health. We’re happy to report that our child is of perfect health! 10 fingers. 10 toes.

Our experience with doctors here so far has been nothing but positive. Our doctor is smart, kind and caring.

Our stroller, the Bugaboo Fox!

Last we shared that we were debating between a few strollers. We got a great deal at El Corte Ingles because the newer model had just released and they were clearing stock on the first

Life in Portugal

Lately, Nicole and I have been trying to enjoy our weekends on the beach. Our first beach visit here has been at Costa de Caprica which is south of Lisbon.

Nicole and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in Cascais. It’s a small town with a lot happening. There is a cute beach there, shops, cafes and restaurants.

For Nicoles birthday, we chilled at home and watched Netflix. We had plenty of fun on our anniversary and we wanted to relax and recharge for our Algarve trip. We did celebrate, just not on the day of.

Birthday Party on da roof!

Algarve was a lot of fun. We rented a house with a couple of coworkers and enjoyed BBQ, pool, beach and a bit of tourism.

During our stay, took a boat trip to see the Benagil caves. The caves were stunningly beautiful. Many of the locals took their families to swim in the caves while the boat cruises took tourists like ourselves to sight see and spoil their fun. The boat ride itself was a lot of fun too.

About the baby shower

We’re still unsure what to do. We haven’t been able to get amazon packages delivered and there are not many options here for baby registry. There’s a good chance that when we decide to return to America that we won’t have enough space in our luggage, we may need to sell or donate excess luggage. We have discussed the option of holding a baby-introduction party when we return, but we’ll inform everyone what we’ve decided once we know what we’re going to do.
